I am a college student and I was on a website for scholarships, when I click on a link which took me to grants360.com. Wow...to my suprise, I was scammed! Whatever you do before you give anyone your information make sure you google it first!
People..........People.........People
There are no I repeat no grants that are given to individuals from the government........These grants are given to Charities and non-profit organizations the only companies that may offer grants to individuals is large corporations such as Harrah's Casino or maybe other large foundations. Please do not be fooled by anyone offering grants or grant info for money. Pass this on... Each one teach one
WOW! They got me good. I thought I was such an experienced Internet user that it would never happen to me. 26 years online and 35 years as a Fed. I became a little arrogant about it. Now I feel really stupid. To be honest, the scam is masterfully designed and I fell for it "hook, line and sinker". Perhaps, I've only just been lucky. It still amazes me that people like this rob and steal from others. It's never been in my character to such things. And there are so many easier ways to make lots of money in a legal way. What's the difference between these folks and the fellows running the banks, insurance companies and wall street? My opinion, not much.
I did some homework and this company is a scam! I had cancelled and been told to rest assured I had been given a cancellation # and then.....two days later I was charged. My bank contacted me from the fraud dept. or I wouldn't even of know that it wasn't legit. They're also charging me an out of the country fee. DAmn scam artists!!
It's true. It's a SCAM SCAM SCAM. I'm currently trying to get my money back but no answer yet. Yeah peple are trying to take advantage of people in desperate need specially in this economy crisis. Dont be fooled like I said it's a scam
This is a known scam [and] is operated like a typical scam...and, has all the ear marks of the standard scam....
Anyone that believes there is a free lunch will be a victim of this scam....
Uh...just been scammed. I'm also a student, and Mom, looking for some financial help. When I saw that Grant360 was nothing more than a list of grants that I had already accessed and found I was ineligible for, I realized I had made a mistake. Accessing this website, confirmed it. All the more reason to rely on God, and not scam artists!
UKGRANTS is the exact same site, just wondering how they sent me an e-mail that included my full home postal address... knew it was a scam straight off though
this company is guilty of unauthorized transfer of funds
Husband Just got scammed by Grant360. Because he never reads fine print.
On June 27,2010 I signed up for the grant program to try to get some assistance with my many many bills. I was supposed t be charged $2.97. When I got my statement, the amount taken was close to 60.00. I was charged $35 for insufficient funds. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau ad I'm going to the bank and file fraud charges against the company.
