Site Info:

Domain name: grants-reviewed.org

Related sites: government-grant-listings.com

Type: Affiliate landing page leading to grant scam sites:
  • Free Grant Solutions (urls: https://grantsearch.securemediabox.com/?file=index_v2.html and http:www.grantfundingsearch.com)
  • Grant Solution Finder (url https://secure3.visualwebtools.com/GrantSolutionFinder/gsf/)
(They also link to a third site but that site does not appear to have hidden service + bonus signups for monthly recurring fees, but a one time 'membership' fee. Still shady if you ask me since the info is publicly available, but not one of the common grant scam sites)

Whois information: private registration, but here.

Other Info:

I found this one advertising on Microsoft Live Search (search term: grant kit), at the top position in the right hand column next to the search results (highlighted in image below - and yes, there's many more in that same ad block and will be covered in next posts):

This site has pulled A LOT of traffic in the last month and as such is most likely responsible for funneling a lot of US consumers into the grant scam trap, making tons of money in the process:

Yes, that is 90.000 visitors in February 2009.

What is particularly disturbing is how this site, like so many others banks on the stupidity of people that really may believe that:
"We have been following online make money scams since 2001 and exposing the truth behind them. Over the past 2 years we have specifically targeted government grant make money scams and have researched virtually every single program on the net.

Over the last 2 years we have reviewed 47 government grant websites. We purchased their systems and conducted extensive background checks on each company. Out of the 47 government grant sites only 4 were even worthwhile! These are companies that send you information for free, all we had to pay were shipping costs."
That is, they have 'specifically targeted grant make money scams' to figure out which ones would pay out the most after hooking into your credit card account with their hidden fees and 'bonus trials'. And even the third site they link to does not match their bold statement, they do not 'just charge shipping costs'.
